We have been translating sales brochures and also a website for the ultimate glamping experience, Glisten Camping, in the south of France. Owned by Cornish couple Zoe and Simon, Glisten Camping provides relaxing and family-friendly holiday stays in their unique dome tents.
The business has come a long way since Zoe and Simon successfully tested out their first dome in Maenporth, Cornwall and subsequently headed to France in search of the unique glamping location. Needing to communicate effectively with French campsite owners was paramount, so our first task was to translate a sales brochure and letters into French. Then, once the first campsites had been secured, Simon gave the go-ahead for the website translation to target potential customers, which we translated into French using WordPress. Working in conjunction with Glisten’s web agency MORE Software, we created the French pages for the site, including the main body text and metadescriptions.
Glisten have had a great first summer and are currently thinking about expanding further by translating their website into Spanish and Dutch.
